10 wedding planners discovered the Aosta Valley

A wedding is always a truly special day and more and more people decide to celebrate it in wonderful settings. The Aosta Valley has a wide selection of unique spots in terms of landscape and nature, and that is why it has become a popular location to pronounce the decisive words 'I do'.

To show the wonders of the region to people dealing with the wedding sector, Valle d'Aosta Convention & Visitors Bureau organised a Fam Trip for some professionals: three intense days to discover some of the most evocative locations in which a wedding can be held.

10 wedding planners coming from all around Italy visited some sites suitable for the wedding ceremony and reception. The selection included ancient castles, such as the Introd, Sarre and Issogne manors, Forte di Bard, some modern structures such as Skyway Monte Bianco, some refined hotels, and some open-air areas surrounded by blooming nature.

In two of these locations, that is to say Skyway Monte Bianco and the Castle of Introd, weddings and domestic partnerships with legal validity can be celebrated. A unique occasion for mountain lovers, who can have their rite officiated on the panoramic terrace of Skyway Monte Bianco or in a indoor but scenic hall. At Forte di Bard the visit was extended to the halls of the ancient garrisons, that can host the newlyweds and their guests.

Nights were dedicated to the discovery of some other local excellences, with some guided tastings and the presence of two special guests: the artist Chicco Margaroli, with her works of art specially conceived for the brides, and Diego Bovard, a saffron producer who deeply analyses the agribusiness industry.
